Why should we limit our crime prevention efforts to neighborhoods and businesses alone? Here at the Rockledge Police Department, we have encompassed the entire city. Who is in and out of your neighborhood more than a city worker? City workers consist of Sanitation, Ground Maintenance and Beautification and Construction, just to name a few. These employees not only do their own job tasks, but offer assistance to the Rockledge Police Department by observing suspicious and criminal activity while they are conducting their normal job duties. This proactive approach has proven extremely successful through countless tips and information relayed to us by our city workers.
