Dave Bucher joined the Rockledge Community Redevelopment Agency in April 2021. He was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Dave and his family moved to Rockledge from Frederick, Maryland in 2019. Over a span of 25 years, he enjoyed his numerous visits to Rockledge and Brevard County so much that he decided to make this his permanent home.
Dave retired from State Farm Insurance in 2019 after 31 years of service. During his career, he had the opportunity to live in West Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland. He embraced each community where he resided and became involved by volunteering in many capacities over the years. Dave has served as a youth coach for baseball, basketball, football and soccer. He was also a Cub Scout Den Master.
Dave is extremely grateful and excited to be involved in his new community. He looks forward to drawing on his experiences from his career and his time living in other communities to help continue the mission of the Rockledge Community Redevelopment Agency Board of Commissioners to guide the City in its redevelopment efforts.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys bicycling and spending time with family and friends. Dave and his wife, Jennifer, have 7 children living in 5 different states.
